The new BPL80S is a hard carbon type LIthium-ion battery pack. Capacity is 83.5Wh and maximum/nominal voltage is 16.8V/14.4V. It features a long life similar to BPL90A and BPL60A.

- VTRs applicable to the BPL80S: PDWV1 series, HDW250 series, DVW250 series, DNWA220/A25/A25WS series, DNV5 series, DSR50 series, DSR1 series, SRW1 (with SRPC-1)
- Rechargeable with conventional battery chargers: BCL500, BCL70, BCM150 and ACDN10
- Long life cycle similar to BPL90A and BPL60A
