The new HVRHD1000 brings the benefits of HD production to a wider range of users. Targeted at wedding videographers, freelancers and educational video creators, the camcorder offers users greater versatility. Supporting both the HDV and the standard-definition DV formats, the unit can work exclusively as a DV camcorder, and when needed, it can be SWITched to high-definition mode. The HDV format allows users to shoot approximately 60 minutes of HD video on a the PHDVM63DM 6mm cassette tape.
